Notion Out-of-Home Campaign - 2025
Role: Ideation & 2D Animation — BUCK
I was a part of the BUCK team that developed the motion language and system for Notion’s AI assistant, “Nosy.”
I contributed to ideation and 2D animation tests to define its different states, then built and refined the final animations for selected states in After Effects—constructing each one as a self-contained modular loop for seamless, flexible transitions between them.
The team used Rive’s State Machine to implement the final animation as a UX component, enabling real-time transitions between expressions while preserving its original hand-drawn feel.

Role: 2D Animation — BUCK
Notion returned for an out-of-home campaign, celebrating the launch of their new AI assistant, Nosy. The campaign also highlighted Notion’s vast avatar library — developed by BUCK — featuring a curated collection of characters.
I designed a modular animation system for this campaign, enabling our team to easily swap characters and features across dozens of formats—billboards, subways, airports, and more—without re-animating from scratch.
I also created a customization system for Nosy, adapting it for a larger scale and presence beyond a UX component— adding procedural textures and subtle brushstrokes to preserve a handcrafted warmth while maintaining a clean vector foundation.
