Role:
2D Animation, Concept & Storyboards 
I was a part of the team that worked on the MSG Sphere Emoji—which went on to become the unofficial mascot of the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. 

In my role, I developed and animated a series of moments for the Sphere Emoji. I contributed to storyboards, ideation, 2D animation, and standardization of the emoji’s expressions to ensure visual consistency across future iterations. We aimed to create something simple, impactful, and full of personality, while making the most of the Sphere’s one-of-a-kind architecture and monumental scale.

We considered how the emoji might interact with people at different vantage points—whether walking or driving by, watching from nearby buildings, or flying overhead. 

With each LED “pixel” measuring roughly 2×2 feet, every detail was magnified, so we slowed the motion to preserve clarity and legibility at scale, ensuring the animation felt grounded and responsive from every perspective.

The Sphere Emoji quickly became a public favorite, gaining significant attention across social media and press, and reaching millions worldwide.
